The Mason & Hamlin company was founded in 1854 by Henry Mason and Emmons Hamlin. The company began manufacturing reed organs, starting piano production in 1881 in Boston, Massachusetts. Even with changing hands over the years, the Mason & Hamlin piano company has maintained high quality instruments, and is still made in the USA.
